BulletPoint5 : INSTALLATION - these D-rings require routing, or cutting a hole in the floor. We recommend creating/cutting a template and then transferring to the desired location. If you use a 3-1/2" hole saw, the d-ring will fit without any further work. Better fit - use a 2-3/4" hole saw then jigsaw the flat edge and then bevel the entire edge with a wood hasp to create a snug fit.

The 2.5" bolts are long enough to go through 2" thick planks which is typical on an open trailer.

IMPORTANT - Most enclosed trailers have 3/4" thick floors. The 2.5" long bolts will work on 3/4" floors but are longer than what is needed. Therefore if you prefer 1-1/2" bolts please message us and we'll be happy to provide the shorter bolts. APPLIES to seller fulfilled orders only.
