The front cross bar includes hardware storage for engine mount bolts when not in use and to keep them within arms reach when mouting the engine. The engine cradle fits Small and Big Block Compatible with Chevy engines on the rear lower bellhousing dowels/bolts and side engine mount locations. Due to 55-57 265 and 283 cubic inch engines having no side engine mounts, it is not compatible without fabricating new front bracket for the cradle mounts. Engine cradle for small and big block Compatible with Chevy engines. Mounts to rear lower bellhousing bolt holes/dowel and side engine mount bolt holes.
