If you lightly apply a tooth grip fastener such as the ABZ fastener, Boingo or a Snappi on a diaper without attaching it properly, then it is not on correctly and they will not be effective. If you use it properly, it will work correctly. Attach it so the teeth are grabbing into the fabric. The teeth need to grip the fabric with a small amount of tension on them to hold them in place.
