2. Test for Colorfastness: Before applying the foam cleaner to the entire area, test it on a small, inconspicuous section of the carpet or fabric. Check for any color changes or damage to the material. If any adverse effects are observed, do not proceed with the application.
3. Shake the Can Well: Vigorously shake the can of Turbo Scrub™ Dry Foam Carpet Cleaner to mix the contents well. This ensures the foam is evenly dispersed when applied.
4. Apply the Foam: Hold the can upside down about 2 feet above the carpet or fabric surface. Spray the foam evenly over the area, covering it thoroughly but without over-saturating.
5. Work the Foam Into the Surface: Use a soft-bristled brush or a damp, colorfast mop to gently work the foam into the carpet or fabric. This action helps the cleaner to reach deeper into the fibers and lift the dirt effectively.
6. Allow Time to Dry: Let the foam sit and dry completely. This may take around 2 hours or more, depending on the environmental conditions and the amount of foam applied.
7. Vacuum Thoroughly: Once the foam is dry, vacuum the area thoroughly. This step helps to remove the dried foam along with the dirt and grime it has lifted from the fibers.
8. Repeat if Necessary: For heavily soiled areas, you may need to repeat the application process to achieve the desired level of cleanliness.
9. Safety Precautions: Use the product in a well-ventilated area. Keep children and pets away from the treated area until it's completely dry.
