I can't believe how good this drum sounds AND LOOKS! Excellent for backbeats and a high pitched crack: you name it, beyond a power-piccolo! I LOVE IT! I would swap the heads out with first quality heads of your choice. I would suggest a Remo USA CS Reverse Dot coated batter and hazy snare side with a set of PURE SOUND wires. If that is not your sound, I can switch them out for you. I will be more than happy to help dial in the tone you are looking for on this or ANY drum. I will change the heads and tune this up to your liking. I will do all the labor at NO CHARGE!!
