This helps to maintain the quality of the audio, even when other effects such as high-gain distortion are introduced. MXR has also included an analog through-path, and the Clone Looper can be set for either true or buffered bypass.Extremely Useful External ControlsMXR has included a CTR jack on the Clone Looper that, when used with an MXR Tap Tempo Switch, allows users access to loop speed, loop direction, and clear loop functions. There is also an EXP jack, allowing users to use an expression pedal to set output level, or opt for a tap switch to engage Play Loop Once mode.Up To 6 Minutes of Recording TimeWith the Clone Looper, users can record an unlimited number of layers up to 6 minutes long, which are stored even when the pedal is off. This time cuts down to 3 minutes if you change your loop to double-speed, and 12 minutes if you change to half-speed. If you're looking to add some overdubs to your main loop, an LED produces a flashing 4 count to help keep them in time.
