VNTC is designed for power and control, telemetering, relay control, traffic control, switching, lighting and signal transmission. This cable type uses PVC/Nylon insulated conductors and has a PVC outer jacket.

VNTC Tray cable is a flame retardant multi conductor cable specifically approved for installation in cable trays and conduits. It is also approved for class I remote control & signaling circuits. Multi/Cable Tray Cable is sunlight resistant and may be installed in air (if supported by a messenger), in ducts, wireways, raceways, troughs or tray, and is suitable for direct burial.

Tray Cable is a sturdy cable and may be used in hazardous locations. It is approved for both wet and dry environments, can be used in direct burial applications. It has good cold bend and is cold impact resistance. VNTC Tray Cable is also oil and chemical resistant. May be used in Class I, Div. 2 and Class II, Div. 2 Hazardous Locations per NEC Art. 501 and 502. These cables also conform to Art. 392 "Cable Trays" and Art 336 "Power and Control Tray Cable."
