ProductDescription : 9xMarine is proud to offer Black Cobra ( from 1986 to the mid 90's) owners a direct garden hose water flush adapter for modern Cobra stern drives with a standard water pump. All OMC White Stringer systems (from 1964-1985) has a water-flush adapter for decades already. This adapter is used on the drydock. Simply remove the impeller and bolt our panel to the same area. Attach a water hose to the valve, and you don't have to run to the main shutoff valve. It is an excellent tool for troubleshooting your engine when it needs to run and cool. Many mechanics prefer not to use sterndrive lower suction cups (headphone style) because the water pressure relies on a properly functioning impeller. Our flush panel is designed to block the water inlet opening and reuse water outlets into the direct engine cooling line.
