Rocketarium Tank Buster 5 This model is an original design with military inspiration. It is not a scale version of a real device. The TB5 represents a launched grenade used to disable, or destroy, a range of armored targets, tanks especially. The Tank Buster 5's unique shape and six fins will make it stand out at any launch. The TB5 can be flown on B motors for low flights, or C motors for more serious action. Due to the launch lug location, a four foot long 1/8" launch rod is required to safely fly this rocket. Dimensions Overall length : 27.25" Diameter : 1.637" (BT60) Forward Fin Span : 3.216" Weight : 2.25oz Recommended Motors Estes® B4-4, B6-4, C6-5 Challenges: The main challenge when building your own TB5 model rocket is the transition. This is cut from a card stock template and formed by the modeler. Forming the transition can require some experience, and skill. The Tank Buster 5 is a skill level 4 rocket kit. No decals are included with the kit. A template is used to create a mask to paint the white lettering on the finished rocket. Instructions are provided to help modelers create the mask. Model Rocket Kits are rated by Skill Level 1 Beginner 2 Intermediate 3 Advanced 4 Expert 5 Master If you are just starting in the hobby start at the beginner level and move up from there at your own pace. What is needed to build and fly All model rockets come in kit form that require assembly. The materials are primarily cardboard tubes, balsa or plastic fins and nose cone. Materials will vary by model and are typically specified in the description of each kit. Additional supplies will be necessary to build and finish your model rocket kit and may include: Scissors, Hobby Knife Ruler Wood Glue, Model Cement or CA(Super Glue) Sandpaper Masking Tape Finishing Supplies like: Wood Filler Sealer/Primer Paint Launching Equipment and Supplies
