Description: Camelina oil has been found to contain high amounts of omega – 3 fatty acids, like flaxseed oil, which make it suitable for use as a general purpose oil. It contains approxiamtely 15-20% linoleic acid (omega 6) and 35-42% alpha linolenic acid (omega 3). It is also rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants. An excellent emollient with extremely good skin penetration making it an excellent addition to face and body lotions. It is a dry oil so is best combined with softer oils for use in products.
