Usage

1. Press the calibration bar onto the standard surface of the machine. Rotate the outer ring of the dial to return the large needle to zero simultaneously.
2. Remove the calibration bar and place the machine on your workpiece.
3. Adjust the tool to contact the measuring surface of the z axis zero setter.
4. Slowly move the tool so that the both needles turn to zero at the same time, then the distance between the tool and the workpiece is 2 inches.


Notes

1. The z axis setter can only be used in the horizontal plane, not side suction or reverse suction.
2. The fixed screws at the bottom of the setter are used to fix the meter core and dial, so they should not be disassembled.
