The Stitch & Zip Purse Kits from Alice Peterson Company are great quick needlepoint projects. The case is already assembled, complete with zipper around three sides; all you need to do is unzip it and stitch the canvas with the included needle and floss. The design is already on the canvas - no counting needed. Once the stitching is done, you can simply zip it up and it's ready to use, or be a little more fancy and sew a lining behind the canvas (but that's not required). Great for gifts, whether after you've stitched it or as a stocking-stuffer for a stitcher. This case would make a good pencil-case or notions bag!
