ProductDescription : This 14/20 gold-filled round split ring provides a secure connection without the time spent soldering or the risk of heat damage. The finer gauge of this ring gives it a delicate appearance, even while it holds components securely. Split rings are made with two turns of wire, creating a spiral. Insert one end of the wire into the ring (or hole) on your finding and continue turning the split ring until it is completely through the finding. The value of gold-filled is greater than gold-plated because gold-filled has an actual layer of karat gold, not just a microscopic film.
