CottonTek Pro by Tivit is the most advanced & innovative ironing board cover ever produced. The CottonTek Pro cover performs in a way which has never been achieved before. The CottonTek Pro cover is engineered and designed with 5 separate and distinct layers. Each layer has been carefully selected & produced to conduct a specific task. The top layer is a beautiful finish produced from a 100% Soft yet durable cotton. The 2nd layer is a Polyurethane foam layer which allows for the steam & heat to pass through while providing a soft surface. The 3rd layer is made up of felt padding, absorbing and retaining some of the heat and the excess steam. The forth layer is a specific engineered Aluminum lining not allowing any of the remaining and required steam and heat to pass through and bounces back into your garment for optimal performance. The Aluminum lining collects & retains the heat & the steam, while reflecting the heat back to the surface. Furthermore, collecting the moisture & preventing it from dripping down to the floor. Simultaneously, the Aluminum lining continues to keep warm in helping to evaporate the steam contained in the felt layer, which in return increases the steam passing back up through the garment.
