ProductDescription : This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas. The Larson Electronics Light Mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to twelve feet. This light tower collapses down to and features a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. Larson Electronicss’ telescoping steel light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 12` for effective light coverage. This adjustable and collapsible light mast can be extended to twelve feet and collapsed to seven feet and is locked into position with t-handle locking pins. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 6.5` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and an upper section 6.5` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick with 1` overlap. The unit is extended and lowered using an included hand crank winch with 3/16" galvanized braided cable and equipped with a brake for fast and safe deployment. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics standard, with optional black coating available. Galvanized coating for superior corrosion resistance optional. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12" by 12" by 1/2" thick square mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four 3/4" anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. This is a heavy duty unit designed for use in demanding conditions and for overall longevity in difficult construction environments with heavy duty steel construction for maximum durability.
