Installation Steps:
Step 1, Place the spa cover on the spa (in the closed position), making sure the four corner positions are facing the spa.
Step 2: Attach the bracket to the corresponding side of the spa using the screws, pre-drilling the holes with a 1/16’ drill bit. Position the bracket 8‘ down from the top of the spa with a 9’ gap required behind the spa. In this position, approximately 75% of the spa cover will be above the surface of the spa. Place the bracket 12 inches down from the top of the spa, leaving a 15 inch gap behind the spa. In this position, approximately 50% of the spa cover will be above the spa surface.
Step 3, attach the pivot arm to the mounting bracket and attach to tilt to the upright position.
Step 4, insert the long end of the support arm into the centre coupler and scribe the pivot arm.
Step 5, place the cover lifter on the spa top cover, adjust the coupler and support arm so that the coupler tabs are parallel to the hinges of the spa cover, and when the parallel distance is approximately 1/2’ away, use the screws to secure the support arm to the pivot arm and coupler.
Step 6，Slide the black handle over the edge of the spa cover and snap the black handle onto the spa cover.
