ChlorMaker is a semi-automated saltwater chlorine generator that produces chlorine from a small amount of ordinary salt (sodium chloride) dissolved in water. The small addition of salt provides a softening effect on your spa water, adding gentleness on the skin. Using it's built-in timer, the ChlorMaker adds small amounts of chlorine to the water every few hours so that you don't have to! By adding less chlorine more often, the ChlorMaker provides more consistent water, without the spikes and drops of overchlorination and underchlorination.

ChlorMaker features two components: an easy-to-use control box that can be mounted to your spa's skirt and a drape-over electrode. Since it drapes straight into the main body of water, you don't need to modify your spa or hot tub. Add 1.5 pounds of salt per 100 gallons of water, and then place the electrode in the tub. From there, just plug the power supply into a wall outlet, and your ChlorMaker is ready to generate chlorine!

For larger spas (1,200 gallons and larger), ControlOMatic also offers the MegaChlor, which has all the same features as the ChlorMaker plus faster chlorine production. This is especially recommended for tubs in warmer climates due to the higher chlorine demand per gallon.
