Heat activated adhesive liner This is a shrink resistant sleeving with an internal adhesive layer. When heated, the shrink sleeve recovers and the internal adhesive layer melts. A small piece of clear adhesive (approx. 1 mm wide) appears at the end of the heated tube. Upon cooling, a hard seal is formed. The heat-activated adhesive adheres firmly to wires, terminals or any other surface. As the adhesive flows, it squeezes out air and fills the gap between the wire and the tube, resulting in a stronger connection.
