TurboSlide SSX - Custom Session Steel Harmonica with Magnetic Slide Whammy Bar and TurboLid

The TurboSlide SSX is the ultimate version of our popular TurboSlide harmonica. It is customized using the Seydel Stainless Steel reedplates and adding our patented Magnetic Slide System, milling down the overall width, and then fitting it with our Crystal Ice TurboLid.

Our patented Magnetic Slide System allows the player to bend either one or all the blow notes at once. With up to one whole step of bending power, it’s like having both a diatonic and chromatic harmonica in one.

Our patented TurboLid is ergonomic & airtight in design, has nice smooth edges, and is made from durable poly-carbonate which is virtually unbreakable. They fit your hand comfortably and shaped to increase forward sound projection, and greatly accentuate hand cupping effects.

How It Works
The TurboSlide SSX represents a new generation of harmonica, adopting the characteristics of both the diatonic and chromatic harp. By sliding our patented magnet toward/away from the reed, the pitch can be adjusted manually. The TurboSlide SSX is equipped with 10 magnets attached to a common carriage - one magnet for each blow reed. It provides the "missing" flatted semitones on the blow notes and give greater control over the blow bends of the top register.

How to Operate
Just press the button before blowing to play a fixed pitch or while you're blowing to produce a bend.
