This is a black endpin/strap button stereo jack, great for use on standard acoustic guitars as well as cigar box guitars and other instruments. This jack is mounted with 3 black screws (included), with no nuts to tighten. This allows them to be easily used on finished guitars where it would be hard to get a nut screwed on inside the instrument body. An endpin strap button jack serves a dual purpose: not only is it a standard 1/4" stereo guitar output jack, but it also is a handy place to attach your guitar strap. The standard place to mount these is the very base of the guitar (where a regular strap button can usually be found). We also offer endpin/strap-button jacks in various other styles: from a threaded-shaft model that requires a nut to be tightened inside the instrument, to a "friction mount" model that seats firmly into a precisely sized hole in the body of the guitar.
