BulletPoint1 : Purpose: Prevents a flame from traveling past the flashback arrestor in the event of a flashback. Never connect a torch to acetylene and oxygen tanks(cylinders) without installing a set of flashback arrestors at the Torch/Hose/Regulator. Without these safety devices, it is possible a flash can occur within the hose, and ultimately follow back into the tanks, causing an explosion.
BulletPoint2 : Built-in check valve prevents the reverse flow of gas. High quality brass construction, case is rugged and corrosion resistant.
