4) If you don't know the length of retainer ring you need, measure the base diameter of your flagpole and these will be the corresponding retainer rings you will need: 24"= 4" base flagpole diameter, 28"= 5" base flagpole diameter, 32"= 6" base flagpole diameter, 39"= 8" base flagpole diameter, 46"= 10" base flagpole diameter, 53"= 12" base flagpole diameter
5) Take the current measurement of the base of your flagpole, or use a current retainer ring you have and measure the length.
