ProductDescription : JIC fittings are made in accordance to SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards. They are designed according to the tubes’ outer diameter and it is used to connect various tube sizes with sleeve and nut. It is also used in the installation of hose. A complete set of JIC fittings include sleeve, nut, and body. JIC fittings are also known as flared fittings due to the 37-degree flared seating surface. JIC fittings are recommended to be used in high pressure applications such as hydraulic and industrial. The material used is stainless steel 316 and it can withstand a temperature between -60 °C to 200 °C. Depending on the type and size of fitting, the maximum working pressure is up to 6200 PSI (430 Bars). JIC fittings are able withstand higher pressure, temperature, and resistance than NPT thread. Depending on the type of JIC fittings, there are several connection types; Type 1: JIC (1st connection) x JIC (2nd connection), Type 2: JIC (1st connection) x BSPP (2nd connection), and Type 3: JIC (1st connection) x NPT (2nd connection). The fitting offered is JIC union with male threaded end. JIC union is used to connect and disconnect pipes.
