This changes the way boaters receive and deliver information to achieve higher performance in their torso. It is a simple, consistent method of calibrating the speed through the water, regardless of which display system is on board. The DST810 and the Airmar CAST app offer features previously only available through expensive PC-based software. In addition to water temperature, water depth and the newly upgraded 5 Hz (5x per second) speed through water output, the DST810 has an integrated position sensor for gradient and trim data. This information, combined with the powerful and simple CAST app from Airmar, allow for fast and intuitive crimping-compensated speed calibration across multiple angles, speed ranges and are independent of the instruments on board. All speed calibrations and NMEA configurations are stored in the DST810 sensor and not in the displays.
