ProductDescription : Rubber Fab's EPDM Tri-Clamp Screen Gaskets are interchangeable with standard Tri-Clamp Gaskets for ease of use. These fluid filtration gaskets feature a 316L stainless steel screen, making them suitable for high purity systems. The screens are available in a variety of mesh sizes ranging from 4 Mesh up to 100 Mesh. Fluid filtration gaskets provide the most comprehensive range of stainless steel mesh and filter cloth to provide the ultimate particulate elimination for protecting fill and finish sterile products. All Rubber Fab Screen Gaskets feature Dutch Twill weave which provides for maximum strength and minimum pressure drop.

EPDM is specified by many process equipment manufactures and are generally suitable for these applications, however service life must be considered and a preventative maintenance program must be in place to mitigate degradation. EPDM Gaskets are generally only suitable for low pressure steam between -30 deg F and 300 deg F. EPDM is a good choice for Tri-Clamp Gaskets when an economical solution for weather and chemical impervious seals is desired. Chemically, EPDM has good resilience against animal oils, vegetable oils, ozone, strong chemicals, and oxidizing chemicals. Do not use EPDM gaskets for mineral oils, solvents, or aromatic hydrocarbons.
