Highly detailed 1/700 scale assembly model kit of the Royal Navy Battlecruiser HMS Renown, the lead ship of her class of 26,500 long tons (26,900 t) battlecruisers that first entered service during World War I. This Trumpeter 1/700 scale assembly kit features the reconstructed HMS Renown with a new tower bridge, modern anti-aircraft battery, much enhanced aircraft-handling facilities, and up-to-date gunfire controls including the HACS MkIV AA fire control system and the Admiralty Fire Control Table Mk VII for surface fire control of the main armament, as well as working in additional armor. The reconstruction was completed in 1939, just after the outbreak of World War II, and the HMS Renown remained in service with the Royal Navy until the end of the war. This Trumpeter 1/700 scale assembly kit features parts for both waterline and full hull version. A simple display stand is also included. 297 parts.
