This high-quality but affordable safety monitoring relay has been designed to run your safety circuits as efficiently as possible. Featuring 3 safety outputs, Normal Opening, 1 Auxiliary Contact, Normally Closed, and 1 Semiconductor output. Connection options include provisions for Emergency Stop Push Buttons, Reset Buttons.
This versatile safety relay meets these safety requirements ? the circuit is redundant with built-in self-monitoring. The safety function remains effective in the case of a component failure, and the correct opening and closing of the safety function relay is tested automatically in each on-off cycle.
LED indicator for switching your channel status from 1 to 2 and to monitor your supply voltage, suitable for DIN rail mounting. Not suitable for non-contact barriers.
What do Safety Relays do?
Safety relays are an electrical device that are used to reduce risk in the workplace when a fault occurs and when detection zones are interrupted, initiating a safe, reliable response from other aspects of the installation. It does this by detecting breaks in wiring and faulty contactors or actuators by sending out electrical pulses through the wiring.
Typical applications include mechanical presses, hydraulic presses, general safety circuits, emergency stop buttons and safety gates. A safety relay should ideally be installed in a control cabinet with a minimum of IP54 protection.
