Product Description:
The platinum electrode is an indicator electrode for measuring redox potentials and can be used for potentiometric titrations of redox reflections when combined with tungsten or mercury electrodes.
Structure:
The platinum electrode is a bright platinum sheet sealed and welded in a tetrafluoro rod with gold plated copper rod terminals (used with crocodile nozzle chuck wire), the exposed area of the platinum sheet can usually be customized to various specifications, the electrode tetrafluoro rod is 6mm in diameter and 80mm in length, if you have special requirements you can contact customer service for customization!
Before Use:
1. The platinum sheet of the electrode can be cleaned in chromic acid solution before use, then washed with distilled water.
2. If there is oil sticking on the surface of the platinum sheet, it should be cleaned with acetone, then cleaned in chromic acid solution and distilled water.
Use and Maintenance:
1. Soak the electrode in water and clean the surface before use. The electrode can be used in conjunction with a pH/mV meter, paired with a mercury electrode or silver chloride, and inserted directly into the sample to read when the potential is stable.
2、In-situ determination of soil, substrate, etc. need to be careful not to deform the end, surface roughness, when not in use temporarily can be soaked in water, not used for a long time book dry put in the box.
