The Eagle Lights 8700R mounting ring is used on 2013 and older Harley Davidson motorcycles to mount LED headlights. LED headlights are deeper than stock headlights. Prior to 2014 Harley and other manufacturers used shallower buckets that do not accommodate LED headlights. In 2014 Harley began user deeper buckets for LEDS. This ring is meant to extend the buckets used prior to 2014. Other than just fitment, these adapter rings help reduce road vibration to the headlight.
