We have specially designed this LED bulb with LED lights on both sides so it not only directly illuminates the map/dome lamp, but it also reflects the light from the back to make the map/dome lamp even brighter. This new design makes our LED bulbs similar to the OEM incandescent bulbs that can shine multiple directions and appears much brighter than the single-direction LED bulb with the same or even more LED emitters. P.S. This LED bulb works even better for lots of American cars since many American cars' map/dome lamp housings have a chrome reflector inside. Fitment This 1.72" 42mm festoon LED bulb will replace the stock 578 572 570 211-2 212-2 or 214-2 bulbs for the vehicles in the parts compatibility list.
