The magnetic base should be used for mounting when degreeing a camshaft. It can also be used for checking the crankshaft end play, deck heights, dome heights, transmission end play or ring and pinion backlash. The universal magnetic base may be mounted anywhere. The dial indicator also has a shockproof dial. It is backed by a 90-day limited factory warranty and sold individually.
