This Design is Making Waves.

With its fluid, natural look, the new Wave Front Jewelry Chest breaks away from the traditional linear designs of our chests and cases. Made with cherry and walnut, we chose to use only a natural finish to highlight the contrast between the two kinds of wood.

The unique wave pattern front design requires carefully aligning the different wood pieces to create a cohesive design that could be crafted while maintaining the stunning pattern. Decorative brass side handles make this unit easy to carry.

The drawers have a few unique features not found in other Gerstner jewelry boxes. We’re incorporating spring-loaded latches, rather than our traditional drawer knobs, to open and close the drawers. This ensures the hardware does not distract from the beauty of the woodwork and creates a very clean look. Behind the drawers is a place to hang necklaces. Not only does this prevent tangling, but it makes them easy to find and access.

The interior of the box is lined with black velvet finished material to display jewelry better. We’re also adding a removable section of ring rolls to provide more versatility for storing rings of different sizes.
