Provides excellent chemical inertness and corrosion resistance at temperatures to 2100°C. Offers unique ability to allow oxygen ions to move freely through the crystal structure above 600°C.
Heating and Cooling Instructions Slow ramp rate and cooling rate are highly recommended to minimize the thermal shock; when increasing the temperature, special attention should be paid to two sensitive temperature periods: 100-300°C and 1,050-1,200°C during which the heating rate should not exceed 3°C per minute. The rate can be faster in other temperature ranges, but it is recommended to be less than 5°C per minute. Taking the crucible directly out of furnace at high temperatures may cause cracks. If possible, take it out when the temperature is under 100°C.
