This unit is recommended to use along with a 12V diagnostic tool. When you need to diagnose a 24V heavy duty vehicle, please use this adapter to convert the OBD2 port voltage and protect your 12V tool from over voltage.

Cannot use alone. You have to have a 12V diagnostic tool to use this.

How to Use:

1. Connect the male end of the converter adapter to the OBD2 port of the heavy duty vehicle (must be 24V)
2. Now the female end of the converter adapter provides only 12V output
3. Connect the 12V diagnostic tool to the female end of the converter adapter
4. If your diagnosis tool does not have heavy duty software, try to connect to the vehicle via "EOBD/OBD2" or "OBD Functions" in your device
