The DS3231 is a high precision Real Time Clock Module which can maintain hours, minutes and seconds, as well as, day, month and year information.
The module can work on either 3.3 or 5V. You can use a typical C-R2032 3V ba-ttery to power this RTC module, kindly note that the batteries is not included in this listing!

MEGA: SDA→20, SCL→21
Leonardo: SDA→20, SCL→21

Note: Working with the RTC requires two important steps:
1, Setting the current time, so that the RTC knows what time it is.
2, Retaining the time, so that the RTC module always gives the correct time, even when it is turned off.
