ProductDescription : Hardy Diagnostics’ Bacti Lab Skin Culture Systems are diagnostic culture test kits for the detection of dermatophytic fungi. The culture media is ready for use and provides simplified culture procedures for the isolation, detection and speciation of dermatophytes (Microsporum, Epidermophyton, Trichophyton) commonly seen from hair, skin, and nail specimens in a human or veterinary clinical setting. A 15 x 100mm biplate with one section for DTM (Dermatophyte Test Media) and the other section for RSM (Rapid Sporulation Media). The RSM side will induce the organisms to produce spores (macroconidia) which can be viewed microscopically for identification. DTM does not induce the rapid formation of spores. The Hardy Diagnostics manufacturing facility and quality management system comply with cGMP's and have achieved ISO 13485 certification as a medical device manufacturer.
