Would you like professional looking terminations that don’t have the propensity to snag on everything in sight? These easy to use snagless boots are the perfect solution. In addition to providing snag-free performance, these cut to fit boots provide additional strain relief for your termination, helping to preserve all the hard work you put in. Fitment tested for use with trueCABLE Cat6 Unshielded Ethernet cable, with the exception of Cat6 Unshielded Direct Burial CMX jacketed Ethernet cable. Please use our slip-on 7.50 mm boot for that cable. Will work with nearly any Ethernet cable or plug assuming proper fitment. Not compatible with external ground RJ45 shielded plugs.

Installation Instructions:

1. Using flush cutters, trim the end of the boot to fit the cable you are using. Note that some cables are thin enough to not require trimming of the boot to fit.
2. Slide the boot down the cable.
3. Attach the RJ45 connector per usual, but do not crimp it down yet.
4. Slide the boot back up the cable and push the rigid sidebars into the rear of the RJ45 connector plug until boot and plug are mated flush.
5. Crimp down your RJ45 plug and done. The boot should be permanently locked into place. 
6. Tip: Bend the flexible anti-snag extension upward so the assembly will enter your crimp tool cavity.
