The 24AWG, 4 Pair Solid Cable is constructed of 100% Bare Copper Wires and 50 micron gold-plated contacts ensure clear transmission by eliminating signal loss typically caused by corrosion. An incorporated strain relief provides a snagless, low profile connector, which is perfect for high density patching. The cable's shielding helps to eliminate EMI/RFI and crosstalk and the result is superior performance and enhanced data integrity. The cables are pre-connectorized, saving both time and money typically spent on costly field terminations. Each cable is factory tested for insertion and return loss to ensure maximum performance and reliability. The integrated galvanized steel messenger wire runs parallel to the cable, providing structural support which prevents sagging, drooping, bends or kinks that may ultimately result in reduced cable throughput and therefore ensuring a long service life. The messenger wire also helps to stabilize the cable and reinforces it by helping to keep it in place, when suspended in the air between two buildings, poles, posts or towers.
