Simply set the Motor Mount on top of canoe gunwales in desired mounting location. Loosen tightening knobs and slide to desired width. Fasten angle clamps underneath gunwale lip and begin to retighten knobs until secure sturdy fit. ALWAYS ensure tight secure fit before mounting trolling motor or motoring in canoe.
