4. Pad Installation: Align the chosen pad with the micro hook surface of the back-up plate. Press firmly to ensure secure attachment. Ensure the pad is centered to minimize vibration and wear.
5. Operation: Plug in and switch on your rotary machine. Begin your buffing, polishing, or sanding task at a lower speed, gradually increasing to the desired level. Always hold the machine steadily to avoid losing control.
6. Safety First: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment like gloves, eye protection, and a dust mask, especially when sanding or working with hazardous materials.
7. Post-Use Maintenance: After use, switch off and unplug your machine. Remove the pad from the backing plate and clean both the pad and the backing plate with appropriate cleaning solutions if necessary. Store them in a dry, dust-free environment.
8. Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the backing plate for wear and tear. Replace it if you notice any damage or significant wear to ensure safety and efficiency.
