Decal Application Instructions:
Having a layer or two of finish on the headstock will be optimal.
NO1. Cut around the entire image leaving a 1-2 millimeter edge.
NO2. Carefully stick the decal and separate the transparent layer from the paper backing and place it on the desired spot on the headstock. just scratch it with a knife or cardboard, and then peel off the second layer of film very easily.
NO3. The decal must be applied on a guitar head that has been coated with primer. If applied directly on bare wood, the adhesion will be poor, and it may tear when removed. Avoid surfaces with wax or similar slippery substances, as the adhesion will also be poor.
NO4. If there is oil or wax on some guitar heads, clean it with water mixed with a small amount of dish soap before applying the decal.
NO5. For maple guitar heads, if the primer is thin, do not let the water dry too much when applying. Gently press down with a paper towel. After application, use a hairdryer to blow dry. Wait at least three days before peeling off the film. When peeling, try to pull from right to left slowly.
NO6. In cold weather, it is best to apply the decal, then use a hairdryer on a warm setting to dry it, and wait as long as possible before peeling.
