Product Information

Specification
AgeRangeDescription : Kid
Brand : SÜA
BulletPoint : Ceramic for high thermal demand applications
BulletPoint1 : SÜA SILVER PHOS-COPPER 2% is a low-cost brazing filler metal suitable for joining copper to copper & copper to copper alloys where critical impact or vibration stresses are not encountered in service. It should only be used on assemblies where good fit up can be maintained.
BulletPoint2 : SÜA Silver Phos-Copper 2% is a copper rich, filler metal that is self-fluxing on copper by virtue of its phosphorus content. SÜA SILVER PHOS-COPPER 2% has good flow and wetting properties on copper, brass, and bronze. Its melting characteristics are such that on the low end of its brazing temperature range it has "sluggish" flow characteristics which enable it to fill gaps better, making it ideal for loose-fitting joints.
BulletPoint3 : The self-fluxing property of SÜA SILVER PHOS-COPPER 2% is effective on copper only. Copper base alloys, such as brass or bronze, may be brazed with SÜA SILVER PHOS-COPPER 2% but cannot be used on ferrous metals or nickel base alloys, since the phosphorus produces brittle iron or nickel phosphorus at the joint interface.
BulletPoint4 : The properties of a brazed joint are dependent upon numerous factors including base metal properties, joint design, metallurgical interaction between the base metal and the filler metal. When brazing copper alloys, the properties of joints with good fit-up should exhibit adequate performance.
BulletPoint5 : This kit includes a 6.5 Oz jar of our top-quality SÜA Silver-Flux #1 with a convenient brush attached to the cap for an easier flux application. Available in 9 Sticks and 1 Lb (28 Sticks) packages. Select your option from the menu.

ProductDescription : * Remove any oil, grease, or other contaminants from the surface to be brazed. * Apply flux to joint by dipping, swabbing or brushing area being brazed. The flux may be used as supplied or diluted. * Apply heat, by torch, induction or other means to area being brazed after flux has been applied to activate the flux. * Feed the braze alloy into the joint, unless a brazing preform is already in place. * Clean flux residues from brazed joint using hot water (60°C ± 5°C / 140°F ± 10°F) for best results. If unavailable, room temperature water may also be used. WARNING: PROTECT yourself and others. Read and understand this information. FUMES AND GASES can be hazardous to your health.
