The insert is TiN Coated and has a Molded Chipbreaker. The insert is a .156" I.C. Trigon with 3 cutting edges and .015" corner radii. DURA-MAX 4000 is a tough, general purpose sub-micron grain carbide. DURA-MAX 4000 is designed for roughing. This grade is recommended for cutting steels, stainless steel, nickel based alloys and applications where there are interrupted cuts.
