The insert is TiAlN Coated and has a Flat top. The insert is a .160" I.C. Triangle with 3 cutting edges and .007" corner radii. DURA-MAX 5000 carbide is a hard, abrasion resistant, sub-micron grain carbide with excellent edge and corner retention. This grade is recommended for cutting abrasive materials without an interrupted cut.
