• Compared to the generic boring head on the market, the main lead screw has minimum amount of backlash in 10 graduation while the generic model has around 15 graduation. Smaller backlash allows the operator to be able to dial in on the desired travel much easier
• Internal bore within H7 specification to give tight fitting with cutting's shank
• 1 division is equaled to 0.001" travel in diameter
• 10 division of backlash
• Made from SCM420 alloy steel and harden to RC 57-59 to provide good core strength and maximize wear life
• Boring head seating surface is precision ground finished to 0.0002" TIR
• To achieve AT3 or better taper contact as an industry standard, our taper surface are precision ground on Shigiya CNC grinder from Japan. The surface roughness on the taper is maintained to mirror finish
