The actuator operates with a simple knob control that easily activates fill, drain, recirculation, automatic and pump-out functions.

In the open position, the valve is fully open and water will flow freely in either direction.

In the RECIRC position, the pump will only receive water from the live well.

In the CLOSED position, the valve is closed on both sides and water is not allowed to flow in either direction. The outside water is blocked.

When on the aircraft, the AUTO position allows water to enter the valve and pump from the outside and livewell.

While on the aircraft, the outside ports are closed to prevent water loss and livewell water continues to enter the valves and pumps for recirculation.
