This is a limited edition AFV Club Models 1/35 scale M5A1 Stuart light Tank operated by the Republic of China (R.O.C.) Army after World War II. Model kit features: Limited 1200 Sets. ALUMINIUM gun barrel and machine gun base are included. Kit provides 2 types of idle wheels. Precision photo-etched parts included for enhanced details. Decals for 2 R.O.C. Army versions. About the M5A1 Stuart: Nicknamed the "Stuart" by the British after the illustrious Confederate Calvary officer James E. B. "JEB" Stuart, the M3 and its derivative the M5A1 light tanks were in use by the U.S. Army as well as British and Commonwealth forces during the early stages of the Second World War. Post Second World War, some countries elected to equip their army with the cheap and reliable M5 tank, including the R.O.C. Army of Taiwan and India. During the "Battle of Guningtou", the venerable M5 tanks would again earn its stripes by helping the R.O.C. army beat back the invading P.L.A. of Mainland China, earning it the nickname "Bear of Jinmen".
