This product is a simple vertical scheduling board which helps to encourage independent dressing. It has space for a five stage dressing process, and comes with 12 common clothing symbols to choose from to use with the board. It can also be used with your existing PECS library. It is suitable for both males and females. this product, like all our products, was inspired by some of the difficulties we have gone through in raising our own autistic son over the years, and includes a lot of strategies that have helped him to cope with some of the challenges life can bring.
Features
1) Following feedback from our customers, all images are now larger, 4.5cm squares, making them easy to see whilst still being a good size to hold and use.
2) Made from plastic, so highly durable, waterproof and resistant to grease.
3) Boards and symbols all come with good quality sticky backed Velcro, easy assembly - simply pop symbols out and stick velcro on. Ready to use in 2 minutes!
4) Uses only high quality picture communication symbol images by Mayer-Johnson (used with permission). These are the most common visual symbols to be used to support the learning and development of those with learning disabilities.
5) All corners have been rounded to reduce scratches.
