ProductDescription : Adapter fitting is used as an alternative to extend or terminate a piping system. Adapter fitting is threaded hence ensuring system reliability and leak free connection. To increase the durability of the fitting, caps are used to protect the threads. The maximum working pressure of pipe adapter fitting is up to 420 bars (6000 PSI). However, external factors such as flow rate, O-ring material, and temperature de-rating factor need to be considered. This adapter fitting has 1 male BSPP and 1 male NPT threaded ends. Threaded end connections ease the installation process. Straight adapters are made from ASTM cold drawn bars while non-straight adapters are made through close grain forging. The material used is carbon steel A105 and has a maximum temperature rating of 204°C (400°F).
