The impermeable polyurethane film layer acts liquid and barrier to prevent external contamination, while allows the vapor and oxygen transfer to create a moist wound healing environment. The reticulate structure of the foam absorbs the wound fluid upon contact to avoid wound maceration. The non-adherent foam allows the atraumatic dressing removal to deliver optimal patient outcome. The in-vitro test showed the incorporated silver provides broad spectrum protection against most common clinic pathogens associated with wound infections for up to 7 days, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Enterococcus faecalis, Escherlchia coli, Klesiella pneumonlae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
